Homer Semantics is focused on one foundational problem in the modern enterprise: making meaning explicit before systems, automation, and AI act on it. As organizations scale automation and agentic systems, failures increasingly arise not from missing data or insufficient models, but from misunderstood intent and implicit assumptions. Our goal is to help enterprises build automation that is correct, coherent, and accountable. We work on the semantic layer that sits between enterprise knowledge and execution, ensuring that policies, specifications, network intent, and business processes are represented in a form that can be validated, governed, and preserved over time. This allows automation and AI systems to operate within clear boundaries rather than relying on inference.

Semantics is what makes intent durable. In most enterprises, critical intent exists across documents, expertise, and conventions, and is interpreted differently as systems evolve. Without an explicit semantic foundation, meaning degrades as organizations change, vendors are replaced, and platforms modernize. Homer exists to formalize that meaning, so what the enterprise intends remains intact as technology, scale, and complexity increase.
